Papua New Guinea – Honouring legacy and dreams: triple celebration of the Don Bosco Technical School
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea – August 2024 – The campus of the Don Bosco Technical School (DBTs) in Gabutu, Port Moresby, was filled with joy and merriment to celebrate, from 14 to 16 August, three major events: the 39th anniversary of its foundation, the Trade Olympics and a special Family Day. The participants were welcomed by the Principal of the school, Fr Pedro Sachitula, who gave a welcome speech. The days were characterised by shows, games, fundraisers and events designed for families and, of course, by the celebrations for Don Bosco's birthday, 16 August. These events not only honored the school's legacy, but also inspired students and the community at large to continue fighting for their dreams and the common good.
