Lawaan, Philippines– August 2024 – Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, Councillor for the East Asia-Oceania Region, visited the Don Bosco – Lawaan Formation Centre from 14 to 19 August 2024 as part of the Extraordinary Visitation conducted on behalf of the Rector Major to the Salesian Province of the South Philippines (FIS). During the stay, the Councillor met individually with the Salesians, lay missionary partners, animators and members of the Salesian Family. On 19 August 19, Fr Phuoc held a closing conference during which he provided observations and recommendations. In greeting him, the aspirants, novices and prenovices sang songs in his honour and, finally, novice Glenn gave a speech of gratitude on behalf of the entire community.
