Purwokerto, Indonesia – August 2024 – On 14 August, at the church of St. Joseph in Purwokerto, Salesian Antonius Widianto was ordained priest by Bishop Christophorus Tri Harsono, Bishop of Purwokerto. A diocesan priest and a deacon were also ordained with him. During the homily, the Bishop invited the newly ordained to reflect on the role of the new priests in the Church and to be aware that they will have to help the people of God in the faith.
