Togo – Seventeen couples married as part of the celebrations for the fifth anniversary of the Ecole de Cana
Gbenyedzi, Togo – July 2024 – As part of the celebrations for the fifth anniversary of the Ecole de Cana, seventeen couples were married at the Mary Help of Christians parish in Gbenyedzi, Lomé district. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr Jacques Nagalo, the parish priest. The celebration highlighted the beauty of Christian marriage and was also an opportunity to encourage young people to embark on the path of religious marriage. At the end of the Eucharistic celebration, in an atmosphere of celebration, the spouses cut a cake as a sign of fraternal sharing. The Ecole de Cana, which celebrates its first five years, is a family pastoral structure dedicated precisely to the human and spiritual preparation of couples for the sacrament of marriage.
