Godelleta, Spain – February 2024 - The Rectors of Salesian houses in Spain’s Mary Help of Christians Province (SMX), met on 15 and 16 February in Godelleta, for the second meeting of the 2023-24 academic year chaired by SMX Provincial, Fr Fernando Miranda. The meeting, which brought together the members of the Provincial Council with the Salesians who direct and animate the different presences, focused on the document "A youth ministry that educates in love". This is the title of the book created by the Salesians of Don Bosco to offer educators an updated tool capable of systematising the concepts and attitudes related to affective and sexual education, written by Fr Miguel Ángel García Morcuende, General Councillor for Salesian Youth Ministry, and psychologist Antonella Sinagoga, who took part in the meeting. This combination of knowledge and attitudes gradually leads to the development of skills and criteria that will help the educator to accompany and guide young people in a flexible and appropriate way in all life contexts. The meeting also offered room to explore "The economy at the service of the mission" and  "The path undertaken with Sexual Affective Education in Salesian Spain". In addition, there was the opportunity to receive several communications from the Provincial, and to further explore the functioning of the various Delegations.
