Hong Kong – February 2024 – Fr Carlos Cheung, SDB, presided over the blessing of the stands set up on the occasion of the Lunar New Year in Victoria Park, Hong Kong. In addition to the Director of the Tang King Po College, Tracy Wong, the Vice Presidents, former Headmasters, teachers and alumni, all gathered for the opening of the Lunar New Year. Being the Year of the Dragon, this year students will mainly sell various types of dragon-shaped dolls and water bottles decorated by themselves at the stands. During the blessing ceremony, however, Fr Cheung reminded the students that friendship and shared experiences are more important than gain and that this experience is also a valuable learning process.
