Kenya - Bosco Boys Project for needy children thanks supporters
Nairobi, Kenya - October 2016 - On 22 October the Bosco Boys Project for needy children in Kuwinda celebrated with guests, friends, benefactors and all the people who support the project. The day began with a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Fr Francis Kiarie, Secretary of Education of the Archdiocese of Nairobi. In his homily he thanked the Salesians for their work with children in need and promised support for the project. After the Mass there were various entertainment items, and diplomas were given to 8 students who have finished their studies in Kuwinda. Among the guests present there were representatives from the Slovak embassy who have long supported the project, Salesian Co-operators and journalists who are participating in the SIGNIS workshop at DBYES.
