Ecuador - 12 Achuar students graduate from Salesian Polytechnic University
Quito, Ecuador - December 2023 - 12 Achuar students from the Salesian Polytechnic University's Faculty of Bilingual Intercultural Education graduated on 19 December. This is the fifth course of professionals from the Salesian Polytechnic University's (UPS) Support Centre working in the Wasakentsa community. The graduation ceremony took place at the UPS El Girón campus in Quito. Fr Agustín Togo, Rector of the Wasakentsa Community, accompanied the new professionals and motivated them to put the knowledge they have learnt into practice for the benefit of their communities, especially for the education of children and young people.
