Nigeria - Three Salesians ordained priests
Makurdi, Nigeria - December 2023 - On 16 December, an atmosphere of joy and gratitude filled Sts Peter and Paul parish in Aliade, Makurdi area, for the priestly ordination of three Salesian deacons from the Africa Nigeria Niger Province (ANN). Julius Bannah Richards, Gbertyo Peter Sesugh and Ayogu Christian Kizito Chukwebuka were ordained by Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe, C.M.F., Bishop of the Diocese of Makurdi. Present at the celebration were Fr Jorge Crisafulli, Superior of the ANN Province, together with some members of his council, Fr Cyril Odia, Rector of the Salesian Theology House in Maynooth, Ireland, representatives of the Salesians of Don Bosco, the clergy of the local church, as well as families, friends and people of goodwill.
