Brazil – The 37th Assembly of the Conference of Salesian Provinces of Brazil
Brazil– November 2023 – The 37th Assembly of the Conference of Salesian Provinces of Brazil (CISBRASIL) began on the morning of Monday, 20 November, held in the meeting room at the headquarters of the Salesian Network of Brazil (RSB), in Brasilia. The event takes place every year, in April and November, from a charismatic, congregational and legal perspective, with the aim of studying, discerning and defining the main activities of common interest to all six Salesian Provinces in Brazil. The event was attended by Fr Ricardo Carlos, President of CISBRASIL and Superior of the St Alphonsus Liguori Province of Brazil-Campo Grande (BCG), and other guests including Fr José Ricardo Mole, National Coordinator for Youth Ministry, Fr Paulo Manoel Porfilo, National Coordinator for Formation, Fr José Paulino, Coordinator of Parishes and Shrines, and representatives of the various Provinces. The Assembly provides the opportunity to share the projects common to all the Provinces in Brazil and represents a moment of animation and evaluation of what is already being done through networking.
