United States – Vocational meeting of youth groups in California
Stockton, United States – November 2023 – At a time when young people are often grappling with questions about their future, two Salesian youth groups in California – Stockton's Don Bosco Youth and St Anthony's Youth Group, St. Anthony's, Oakland – gathered on 5 November to explore the fascinating and profound theme of vocation. This meeting sparked meaningful conversations and a sense of unity among the youth participants. The two groups began the day by attending Mass, a spiritual experience that reminded them that faith is not just about attending Mass, but also about building meaningful relationships with fellow believers. Participants then took part in a round table to share their vocational journeys. Afterwards there was time for games, competitions and team activities. The young people left this event with joy and a sense of unity, feeling they were "one body in Christ".
