Cochabamba, Bolivia - October 2023 - Under the motto "Vocation, journey and commitment of Salesian Cooperators", the national meeting of Salesian Cooperators' Aspirants and Supporters (ASC) was held on 28 and 29 October at the María Auxiliadora House in Callajchullpa, Cochabamba. The event was attended by some twenty-five people, including local formators. The central goal of this meeting was to motivate the aspirants in their process of personal discernment in relation to the vocation of the Salesian Cooperator; and to awaken in them a deep desire to commit their lives to God's work and to Salesian work, following the spirit of Don Bosco. The event began with messages of encouragement from leading representatives of the Salesian Family, such as the Rector Major's Central Delegate for the Secretariat for the Salesian Family, Fr Joan Lluís Playà; the General Councillor for the Salesian Family of the FMA, Sr Leslye Sándigo; and the Delegate for the Salesian Family and ASC, Sr Rosario Lourdes. The event was attended, among others, by the Salesian Provincial of Bolivia, Fr Líder Justiniano, the ASC World Councillor for the South Pacific and Caribbean Region, Deliana Almendras, Fr Dámaso Nina, Delegate for the Salesian Family in Bolivia, and Fr Juan Aparicio, Delegate for the ASC.
