Hong Kong – Extraordinary Visitation of Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, Regional Councillor for East Asia-Oceania
Hong Kong – October 2023 – The Extraordinary Visitation of the Regional Councillor for East Asia-Oceania, Fr Joseph Nguyen Thinh Phuoc, to Hong Kong began on 28 October. The General Councillor is carrying out his Visitation to the Hong Kong community in the name of the Rector Major, participating in a moment of fraternal sharing on evangelical witness, community life and the Salesian mission. In addition, as part of the Extraordinary Visitation, Fr Phuoc will take part in the consultations to identify the next Superior of the Mary Help of Christians Province (CIN), since Fr Joseph Ng Chi Yuen, current Provincial, will conclude his assignment next year.
