Siliguri, India - October 2023 - The Salesian University at Siliguri, hosted the screening of the second edition of the 'Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival' on Friday, 13 October. The event was inaugurated by the acclaimed Nepalese director, musician and singer, Anmol Gurung. Fr C.M. Paul sdb, who was also present, wished the festival’s success, and praised it as being capable of "capturing the myriad dreams, emotions, challenges and aspirations of young people from all over the world" while giving voice to the desires of young people to promote peace and solidarity through the universal language of love. During the event, 'Red', one of the films in the competition, was screened. It was made by the students of the communication and journalism course of the same institute and illustrates the need to accept differences in faith and to live in love, peace and solidarity.
