Linares, Chile - August 2023 - A special edition of the Teachers' Council of the Educative and Pastoral Community of the Salesians of Linares took place on 24 August in the theatre, during which the 'Ecobosco' initiative was presented, marking the beginning of a new era for the educational institution. The Colegio Salesianos Linares is fully aware of the looming environmental challenges and the need for solid environmental protection education. This is why "Ecobosco" was conceived, an initiative that carries with it a clear mission: to promote environmental awareness and sustainable action in the community. "Ecobosco" is a space where one embarks on an exciting journey towards a greater understanding of the environment and how it is affected by human beings, where one learns how to act for the benefit of the planet. New ways of caring for and protecting the environment will be explored, innovative ideas shared and small changes implemented that can have a big impact. The managers and coordinators of this environmental project are Professor Claudio Quijada and Víctor Sánchez, who will lead the efforts to create an active community passionate about ecology and the earth's well-being.
