Poland - Over 300 young people at the Salesian "Non Stop Bosko" Festival 2023

01 September 2023

Szklary Górne, Poland - August 2023 - The Salesian "Non Stop Bosko 2023" festival organised by the Salesians of the Province of Poland-Wrocław (PLO) came to an end on 28 August. More than 300 young people gathered in Szklary Górne to take part in various festival activities: workshops, prayers, animation and, of course, concerts. The rich programme included performances by rappers 'Heres and Wyrwani z Bondi', Kołłątaj's 'Forge of Real Men', 'Singing Shepherds', 'Project Awakening' and the 'Lubin Youth Brass Orchestra', as well as theatre improvisations and a jam session. Despite the unfavourable weather, the spirit and enthusiasm did not desert the participants, much to the surprise of the artists, who did not expect such an enthusiastic audience. During the event, the young people took part in several workshops and panel discussions on topics such as missions, relationships, finances, evangelisation on social networks, loneliness, and in dialogue with a bishop, on issues concerning the Church. There was no shortage of workshops: beekeeping, horse riding, handicrafts, photography, sign language, archery, board games, devotional pictures, juggling and many others. Each day there was a spiritual part, with three moments of common prayer and the Eucharist. The Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the main stage was one of the most moving moments. During the concluding Mass, Fr Mikołaj Wyczałek, SDB, organiser of the event, thanked all the helpers, benefactors, residents of Szklary Górne and local authorities.
