Czerwisk nad Wisłą, Poland – August 2023 - The Oratory Leaders School, held in the city of Czerwisk nad Wisłą, came to an end after nine rich days. With the concluding Mass, the young people who took part in it were bid farewell. As the organisers explained, the days were organised so that the participants would feel at home and have as much fun as during their childhood spent in Salesian courtyards or playgrounds. Integration, dancing, shows, musical tournaments and bonfires: these were the elements that helped to forge new friendships. But undoubtedly the most significant moments were those of encounter with God: Adoration, Holy Masses, morning and evening prayers. These days were the definition of the Salesian charism: everything that can be said when you see so many young people dancing together or holding hands while praying the Our Father is that Don Bosco is still with us.
