Poland - 13 new Salesian priests from Polish Provinces

Poland - May 2023 - The priestly ordinations of 13 young Salesian deacons were held on 27 May in the different churches and cities of Salesian communities in the four Polish Provinces. The following day, the feast of Pentecost, all the new priests celebrated their first Holy Masses. Three Salesian deacons from the Kraków Province (PLS) were ordained in the Salesian St Stanislaus Kostka church in Kraków-Dębniki: Michał Cebulski, Łukasz Wójcik and Mateusz Papierz. Bishop Vitalij Kryvytskyi, a Salesian, bishop of the Kiev-Zhytomyr diocese in Ukraine, was the ordaining bishop. In Ląd, Bishop Radosław Orchowicz, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Gniezno, conferred priestly ordination on Salesian deacons from the Piła Province (PLN): Stanisław Karsznia, Paweł Potęga, Dawid Jakubiak, Robert Sierota and Dan Machola. In Twardogóra, young Salesian deacons from the Wrocław Province (PLO), Mateusz Buczek, Paweł Lehmann, Arkadiusz Żydziak and Bartosz Balcerzak, were ordained by Bishop Damian Bryl of the Kalisz Diocese. In Sokołów Podlaski, Salesian Deacon Jacek Banasiuk, of the Warsaw Province (AWP), was ordained by Bishop Piotr Sawczuk, bishop of the Diocese of Drohiczyn.
