Krakow, Poland - May 2023 - The Plenary Assembly of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men's Religious Institutes in Poland (KWPZM in Polish), confirmed the election of the Consultation last May 15: Fr. Dariusz Bartocha, SDB, is the new Secretary General of KWPZM. He succeeds Fr. Kazimierz Malinowski, OFM Conv, who has completed his term. Fr. Bartocha, was, among other things, from 2011 to 2017, Superior of the Salesian Province of Krakow (PLS), and since 2017 has been Director of the Salesian community "St. Hyacinth" in Oświecim, where the Salesians carry out educational and pastoral activities. For many years, Fr. Bartocha has also been accompanying consecrated youth in the preparation of their Congress, which is held every three years, and of which the new Secretary General was also the initiator.
