France - Laly Kanne, Don Bosco-Marseille high school student, crowned vice-champion of Vo Co Truyen
Marseille, France - April 2023 - A 15-year-old sophomore at Don Bosco High School in Marseille, Laly Kanne, has just won, in her category, the title of vice-champion of France in Vo Co Truyen, a Vietnamese martial art. The term Vo Co Truyen is used to identify the set of traditional Vietnamese martial arts. Interviewed by the French Salesian Bulletin "Don Bosco Aujourd'hui," Laly Kanne said, "Practicing this sport allows me to be able to do physical activity first, then strengthen my muscles, meet new people and work on my confidence. I have regained this confidence thanks to my club and my sports teacher who encourage me every day."
