India - Don Bosco School Mirik hosts an interfaith prayer session in honour of Mother Teresa
Darjeeling, India – 18 September 2016 - The Salesian School of Don Bosco Mirik which recently received an award for the best infrastructure of the Schools of North Bengal, hosted an interfaith celebration of homage to Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Speaking to about 250 people - Christians, Buddhists, Muslims and followers of Sai Bhakts and Krishna – the Headmaster, Fr Jose Velloorputhenpura, SDB, recalled that it was during a retreat in Darjeeling that the future saint clearly heard the call to start the institute of the Missionaries of Charity.
