Montevideo, Uruguay - March 2023 - On Saturday, March 25, feast of the Annunciation of the Lord, members of the Salesian Family of Uruguay shared a fraternal meeting with Fr. Joan Lluís Playà, Central Delegate of the Rector Major for the Secretariat for the Salesian Family. All the representatives of the Salesian Family groups present in the country: Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB), Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA), Salesian Cooperators (SSCC), Volunteers of Don Bosco (VDB), Damas Salesianas Association (ADS) and Contemplative Fraternity of Mary of Nazareth (FCMN) participated in the meeting, which took place in the house of the Contemplative Fraternity of Mary of Nazareth. The Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family of Uruguay, Fr. Antonio Mazza, described the meeting with Fr. Playá as "beautiful and fraternal," emphasizing the richness of sharing the experiences of the various groups. As part of his stay in Uruguay, Fr. Playà visited the FMA and SDB Motherhouse in Villa Colón, as well as the Salesian novitiate located in Montevideo.
