Hyderabad, India – February 28, 2023 – The last day of the animation visit of the Rector Major to the Salesian Province of St Joseph, Hyderabad concluded on February 28, with a fraternal meeting and dialogue with the Provincial and his council. The day started with the celebration of the Holy Mass by the Rector Major. The Provincial Council lasted almost three hours, during which there was a short presentation on the life and mission of the Province and a dialogue with the Rector Major. The Rector Major in his message to the Provincial and his Council members, clearly stated that attention must be paid to interiorization, stability and consolidation of every mission, and the temptation of getting lost in excess activities and works was to be avoided. Adding up many works is not the real indicator of growth, but ensuring the charismatic health of the confreres and the strengthening identity of the Salesian mission. “The best way to face the future is to have a vision, and journey towards it. That should be the motivating force of the province, the confreres and all your works”, he concluded.
