Argentina - When the streets become courtyards
Formosa, Argentina - February 2023 - More than 100 Salesian animators led the "Oratory in Mission" experience, which brings together hundreds of children and youth in Formosa each year. Activities began on January 19 with a training camp for all animators who learned first aid and CPR techniques. Then they were sent to the seven communities in Formosa to animate the various activities of play, reflection, prayer and sharing that involved more than 120 young people. "Once again I learned a lot, especially love," said Paula who was in charge of coordinating the experience together with Maxi Colmena. "We gave ourselves the chance to say ‘yes’ again and give our whole hearts to the children. Many young people joined us, we needed them at this time."
