Dominican Republic - The Vice-President of the Republic confers a medal on Fr Linares
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic – 12 September 2016 - The Vice-President of the Dominican Republic and Coordinator of the Government Cabinet for Social Policies, Doctor Margarita Cedeño de Fernández, conferred the “Bene per te” medal on the Salesian Fr Juan Linares Muñoz. The award is given to people who stand up for the defence of values and of the needy. In her speech the Vice-President paid tribute to the social work which Fr Linares and the Salesians are doing in the country.
