Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam - January 2023 – The Salesian Family Day of the Vietnam Province (VIE) was celebrated on January 14, at the "Filippo Rinaldi" Theological Community, with about 500 participants. The program was animated by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians with the coordination of Br. Martino Bui Van Luan, SDB, Head of the Salesian Family. After the presentation of the participants, the Strenna 2023 video, edited and dubbed by the Communication Department, was shown. Immediately afterwards, Fr. Barnabas Le An Phong, Superior of VIE Province, elaborated on the theme of Strenna 2023. Then followed a dance performance by the FMA, entitled "Being Leaven in Today's Human Family," and a game-show also inspired by the content of the Strenna. The festive atmosphere was also enriched by various musical performances. The culmination of the day was the Mass presided over by the VIE Provincial, who in his homily developed the meaning of "dream" in the lives of educators and Salesians, and who hoped that every member of the Salesian Family would dare to dream in order to serve poor young people.
