Bolivia - Second Ongoing Formation Meeting
Cochabamba, Bolivia - November 2022 - On 17, 18, and 19 November, twenty consecrated Salesians - including priests, deacons, and Salesian brothers - from Bolivia gathered at the Provincial House to share the joy and mission of being consecrated to God for young people. In the presence of Fr Líder Justiniano, Provincial of Bolivia, they studied the life of St. Artemide Zatti. Subsequently, enlightened by the words and accompaniment of Fr José Gallo, they made a brief retreat in which they were able to compare their own vocational history with that of Zatti. On the second day of the meeting, specific topics on Formation were explored, re-reading the words of Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation: "Formation is not just a phase or part of Salesian life, but rather a way of being that embraces lifetime". There was no lack of moments of discussion with the Salesian Family, the Youth Ministry, and the members of the Salesian Bulletin. The meeting concluded on November 19 with a visit to the "Villa Marquina" eco-tourist park, to share a day of rest and fraternity.
