Chile - Five-year meeting of Southern Cone formation team
Santiago, Chile - November 2022 - The five-year meeting of the Southern Cone Formation Team (EFOSUR), held at the Theologate of Lo Cañas, in Santiago, that began on October 24, ended last November 3. The objectives of this meeting were: to understand the developmental stage of young adulthood as a theological locus of discernment and religious praxis; to share the positive experiences and problems of the early years of the priesthood; and to deepen the elements that shape Salesian ordained ministry. The program of the meeting, animated by Fr. Roberto Camusso, Fr. Alejandro Garzón, and Fr. Félix Levin, included lectures, group work, moments of exchange among the participants, and visits to the "Alberto Hurtado" Shrine, Cerro San Cristóbal, and the Maitencillo district. Also, participants enjoyed a visit by Msgr. Alberto Lorenzelli, SDB, auxiliary bishop of Santiago, Chile, and Salesian Cardinal Riccardo Ezzati.
