Fr. Horacio Barbieri, ARN Provincial, accompanied the Exercises, which were led by Msgr. Virginio Bressanelli, Bishop Emeritus of Neuquén. Throughout the week, thanks to the reflections centered on the Salesian Constitutions, the Rector Major's Strenna, and other documents, Msgr. Bressanelli's pastoral witness, sensitivity to the humblest, and accompaniment of the vulnerable emerged; in addition, each day the bishop had talks and moments of personal reflection with the participants; there was no shortage of common times for sharing and prayer. "The atmosphere was very pleasant and there was a good number of Salesians, young and older, from various locations," said Salesian coadjutor Br. Gabriel Osorio, Delegate for Social Communication of the ARN Province. In addition, he continued, "we woke up in the night to see the canonization of Zatti."
