D.R. Congo - Training meeting for Rectors and Economers of AFC-EST delegation
Goma, R.D. Congo - October 2022 - On October 11 and 12 at the "Don Bosco Ngangi" Youth Center, a training session was held for Rectors and Economers of Salesian communities and presences in the "St. Joseph" AFC-EST delegation. This training session was organized with the aim of animating the communities in the delegation to transparent, consistent, community-based and Salesian management. Fifteen Salesians took part in the session. It focused on the management of an organization's human and financial resources for the sustainability and effectiveness of the common mission for youth. Regarding human resource management, Fr. Carlos Balezi, SDB, Economer of the Delegation and the main facilitator of the session, insisted on the hiring of employees: the need for personnel, the profile and skills of the employee, termination of contract employment, etc. Regarding the management of financial resources, participants were enlightened on the mobilization, management and control of funds. This sequence was moderated by Mr. Wabulakombe Bulambo Stanislas, Certified Public Accountant of a company with a strong presence in religious organizations in the region.
