Poland - Meeting of Rectors and Pastors of Salesian works of Warsaw Province
Kutno-Woźniaków, Poland – September – A meeting of the Rectors and Parish Priests of the Salesian works of the Warsaw Province (PLE) was held from September 14 to 16 in Kutno-Woźniaków to share and reflect on the needs of Salesian institutions. The meeting was also attended by Salesians from the Delegation in Belarus, Provincial Councilors, as well as Prof. Aleksander Bańka from the University of Silesia, who gave a lecture entitled "The Subjective Role of the Laity and Synodality in the Church. Challenges and Stereotypes." Prof. Bańka, a member of the Polish Bishops' Conference Council for the Apostolate of the Laity, has also been a Delegate of the Polish Bishops' Conference for the opening of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops in Rome since 2021. After very interesting and necessary meetings, the participants returned to their seats with the strength of family spirit and Salesian spirit.
