Cabana, Argentina - September 2022 - The Fourth Provincial Chapter of the Salesian Province "Blessed Artemide Zatti" of Argentina North (ARN) was celebrated from September 12 to 16. For five days, Salesians and lay people worked on the program guidelines of the 28th General Chapter under the motto: "Salesians Shepherds Today," and the ARN Province took the opportunity to update the Province's Directory. The Provincial Chapter was held in a fraternal atmosphere, with an attitude of shared research between Salesians and laity, and a desire to respond with a clear Salesian identity to the pressing needs of young people, especially those living in more vulnerable conditions. Fr. Horacio Barbieri, ARN Provincial, said, "This instance has allowed us to look at each other, reflect, meet, get to know each other, share and discuss issues that are part of the life of the Provincial community." Likewise, he invited communities "so that we can replicate meeting spaces, pause and allow each other to reflect on pastoral issues, links, and organic visions." The proximity of the canonization of Artemide Zatti, patron of the ARN Province, meant that his bearing witness as a Salesian coadjutor was very present during the Chapter, given to all with joy.
