Brazil - Two hundred poor families in Cuiabá receive baskets with basic necessities
Cuiabá, Brazil - August 2022 - Lay volunteers from the Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians in Cuiabá distributed baskets containing food, hygiene products and other basic necessities to two hundred poor families living in neighborhoods near the landfill in the capital of Mato Grosso on Saturday, August 20. This is a project that the laity, together with the Rector of the Shrine, Fr Dídimo Campos Filho, have been carrying out for five years now and from which many needy families benefit.
