America - Seminar to critically reflect on meaning of practices in social field
America - June 2022 - An online seminar offered by the Salesian Social America Network (RASS) and intended for members of the Works and Social Services sector was held on June 16 and 17. Titled "Psycho-emotional Strategies to Motivate Learning in Social Works," the seminar aimed to analyze and reflect on what is happening in the contexts in which Social Services operate, to rebuild the field of education and reduce inequalities in the post-pandemic period. Among the many talks, it is worth mentioning that of Dr. Roberto Ravero, who gave the lecture entitled, "Emotional, brain and mental implications of traumatized childhood and post Covid-19 educational problems, a reflection from neuroscience." Another highly relevant talk was by Dr. Alejandro Rodríguez, who offered insights on how to revitalize educational practices after the difficult years marked by the pandemic.
