Brazil – Xavante community of Sangradouro celebrates Corpus Christi
Sangradouro, Brazil - June 2022 - On the morning of June 16, at the Salesian Indigenous Mission in Sangradouro, the Xavante community celebrated the feast of Corpus Christi, accompanied by Salesian missionaries. Fr. Juan Carlos Ingunza Uscola led the Eucharistic procession throughout the village to the sound of songs and prayers sung by the Xavante, who also made drawings with Eucharistic messages on the ground for the occasion.
