Solomon Islands - Time of grace for "Christ the King" parish in Tetere, celebrating Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians
Tetere, Solomon Islands - May 2022 - Last May 24, the feast day of Mary Help of Christians was celebrated at "Christ the King" parish in Tetere. The celebrations began with a torchlight procession, recitation of the Rosary, and songs in honor of the Help of Christians, led by ADMA members. Afterward, "Christ the King" Parish pastor Fr. Robinson Parappilly, SDB, presided over the Eucharistic celebration. In his homily, Fr. Parappilly explained, in detail, the origins of the feast day of Mary Help of Christians and how Don Bosco helped spread her cult. During the Mass, moreover, 23 new ADMA members issued their promises and, as a sign of thanksgiving, finally sang a hymn to our Mother.
