Caracas, Venezuela - May 2022 - The Vicar of the Rector Major, Fr Stefano Martoglio, arrived at the "Simón Bolívar" airport, in the state of La Guaira, to begin the Animation Visit to the "St. Luke" Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN), scheduled from May 15 to 26. He was welcomed at the airport by Fr Rafael Montenegro, VEN Provincial, his Vicar, Fr Alfredo Oliveros, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Jorge Bastidas, and COSES Director, Fr Carlos Méndez, who on behalf of all the Salesians of the Province welcomed Fr Martoglio, wishing him days of sharing in fraternity and spiritual growth. A welcome Eucharist was held at 11:30 a.m. in the "Mary Help of Christians" church in Boleita. Pastor Fr Jose Luis Lofrano presented the mission of Fr Stefano Martoglio’s Venezuelan visit to the faithful. The applause and songs of joy were not long in coming from the various groups that animate the parish including the "Damas Salesianas" and the Association of Mary Help of Christians (ADMA).
