Brazil - "Don Bosco Salesian College" of Porto Alegre celebrates 70 years
Porto Alegre, Brazil - March 2022 - To celebrate the 70th anniversary of its foundation, the "Don Bosco Salesian College" of Porto Alegre opened its doors on Saturday, March 19, to students, their families, and the entire educational community. It was a time to give thanks for the blessings received and to invite everyone to continue writing this success story. When Fr José Mássimi officially inaugurated the large building in the northern area of the Capital of Rio Grande del Sud, at the time called "House of the Little Worker," he did not imagine that he was giving society an institution that would make history. In these seven decades many educators, Salesians, and of course students, have passed through this institution, which has left significant imprints in the way of teaching and educating, inherited from St. John Bosco - that Preventive System that combines reason, religion, and loving-kindness.
