D.R. Congo - "Don Bosco Ngangi" students donate blood out of love for the sick
Goma, D.R. Congo - March 2022 - Students of the "Don Bosco Ngangi" Salesian Institute in Goma participated in a voluntary blood donation campaign organized by the Provincial Center for Blood Transfusion "CPTS Nord-Kivu". About forty students joined the initiative. They learned of the importance of blood donation to save lives in hospitals, especially for women with difficult births, the wounded and children with anemia problems. Mr. Jean Kembo, in charge of promoting blood donation at CPTS in Goma, listed all the criteria required to be a donor and told the students that "donating blood is a sign of love for the sick." For their part, the students invited their peers to donate their blood as a sign of charity, to offer the possibility of survival to sick people.
