K'Long, Vietnam - February 2022 - After all activities remained long suspended due to the pandemic, the Salesian Provincial of Vietnam (VIE) organized the first "Regular Formation Course for Rectors" from February 9 to 12 at the "K'Long Meditation Center". The event was attended by Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, VIE Provincial, the Provincial Council, and the Rectors of Salesian communities. The Provincial gave a special address to the Rectors, sharing his concerns and the indications of the Salesian Congregation, drawn from his meeting in Rome with the Rector Major, Fr Á.F. Artime. During the course, the participants reflected on the image of a humble servant who lives and works within Don Bosco's Preventive System; they shared pastoral work in various areas; and deepened the role of animation and accompaniment of the Rector according to the indications of the Congregation. Fr Nicolas Kieu Long Ho, Provincial Economer, then spoke about the administrative role in the Province and the Provincial Council finally presented the projects and activities of the various departments.
