India - A new Salesian house for girls at "Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadan" blessed and inaugurated
Hyderabad, India - February 2022 - At the "Don Bosco Prem Seva Sadan" house in Hayathnagar, Hyderabad, a new environment has been blessed and inaugurated that welcomes street girls cared for by the Salesians. The growing number and the needs of the girls made it necessary to create the “Don Bosco Navajeevan” (DBNJ) to obtain a more comfortable living space. The blessing and inauguration ceremony was presided over on February 2 by Fr Thathireddy Vijaya Bhaskar, Provincial of Hyderabad (INH), and Fr Thomas Santiagu, Provincial-appointed of INH, in the presence of benefactors and friends of the DBNJ. Fr Vijaya Bhaskar recalled the many sacrifices that benefactors make to give life to the aspirations of each child. The guests of honor encouraged the minors present to excel in their studies and formation, in order to create a solid foundation for a better future.
