Uganda - A basketball court in Palabek to bring young people closer to sport
Palabek, Uganda - January 2022 - The new year began with a gift for the young people of the Palabek refugee camp in Uganda. In recent days, in fact, the construction of the new basketball court has begun, designed to bring young people closer to the sport. The idea of creating a new sports space in Palabek began in 2019 when a benefactor, who preferred to remain anonymous, gave the children a basketball. At the time, there was no place where they could use it, and from that day on, young people have been waiting to see a court built where they can learn a new sport.
