Nigeria - "The Oratory": Film presented in Lagos
Lagos, Nigeria - November 2021 - After its premiere in Ireland, the United Kingdom, and Italy, the film "The Oratory" was presented in the commercial capital of Nigeria at Lagos, a place known to be the point of convergence for many young people seeking a future. Some of them succeed, but most remain on the periphery of the society. "The Oratory," made by Obi Emelonye in collaboration with the Salesians of the English-speaking West African Province (AFW), brought to life the plight of young people, especially those on the streets, and its premiere in Lagos was attended by church authorities, priests, religious, government officials, Cooperative Organizations, NGOs and High Schools. The film continues to Abuja on November 27, which would be another significant event.
