Spain - The 7th SYM Forum shows the Commitment of Young People
Madrid, Spain - November 2021 - About 30 young representatives of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) from all over Spain participated along with the Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in the 7th annual Forum which took place from 12 to 14 November in “El Plantío "(Madrid) on the theme "Self-Identification". Through various formative sessions, the participants reflected on current issues in the light of the mission of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello. The program also had a slot for socialization among the young people, which was led by David Arduengo, Coordinator of the "Confederación Don Bosco". It was followed by a moment to share group experiences on the "Popular Youth Mission" and at the panel discussion on the theme of "Salesian Heart." Furthermore, the participants were able to learn the central elements of “Salesian Spirituality”, share moments of fraternity, and participate in the prayer-concert of the group “El Árbol de Zaqueo”. The meeting concluded with a group discussion on the theme: "Towards the mission, vision and values" and the Eucharistic celebration.
