Solomon Islands - Formation for the fathers of the “Christ King” parish of Tetere
Tetere, Solomon Islands - October 2021 - Over 100 family fathers from the “Christ King” parish of Terere gathered on 23 and 24 October in the rural Catholic community of Suaghi for a meeting of formation in the faith and in the new evangelization. The event focused on the theme of this year's World Mission Day “We cannot but speak about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20), and it helped and inspired the participants to create new initiatives of witness and apostolate, to form and transform communities of men and women who, by learning to accept their own fragility and that of others, promote brotherhood and social friendship.
