Jerusalem - "Dies Academicus" of the "Studium Theologicum Salesianum"
Jerusalem - October 2021 - The “Dies Academicus” (Academic Day) of the “Studium Theologicum Salesianum” (Salesian Theologate - STS) of Jerusalem was celebrated on Saturday 16 October, which brought together students, teachers and friends of the Institute. Fr Andrzej Toczyski, SDB, Dean of the "STS", inaugurated the event by welcoming the participants and thanking the Apostolic Nuncio in Israel, Msgr. Adolfo Yllana, recently appointed to this post. The lectio magistralis – keynote address by Fr George Schultze SJ was on the topic: “Of all things visible and invisible: Postmodernism and Incredulity”. It presented the philosophical and social struggles with permanence and change and how the foundations of knowledge and the boundaries of conduct decline.
