Haiti - Religious professions and aid to families
Pétion-Ville, Haiti - August 2021 - On the occasion of the Solemnity of the Assumption, the Salesian Vice Province of Haiti (HAI) organized the ceremony of the First Profession of five Salesians and the Perpetual Profession of the Salesian Droodguy Joseph. The Eucharistic celebration took place in the Chapel of St. John Bosco in Pétion-Ville and was presided over by Fr Morachel Bonhomme, Vicar of the HAI Vice Province. Despite the sadness and desolation caused by the August 14 earthquake, the Salesians continue to hope for a better future. The Cayes community has already welcomed 100 families into the schoolyard and more are arriving every day.
