Pakistan – An ecological initiative in Lahore
Lahore, Pakistan - July 2021 - The "Don Bosco" Youth and Technical Center in Lahore organized a tree planting activity for Saturday 17 July 2021 to educate students and teachers in the conservation and care of creation. The campus of the Salesian house was used to plant a large number of small shrubs, which over time will grow and become large trees and which will not only help improve the beauty of nature and purify the air in the area, but will also serve to attract various types of birds that will be able to nest there. Salesians, teachers, pupils, past pupils, Salesian Cooperators and Salesian aspirants participated with great enthusiasm in the activity. The ultimate goal is to be able to plant 200 trees during the year.
