United States - July 2021 - From 13 to 15 July a workshop was held in virtual mode for the Directors of the Salesian Provinces of the East United States and Canada (SUE) and West United States (SUO) in the presence of their respective Provincials and Provincial Councils. The first day was led by Fr Hugo Orozco, the Councilor for the Interamerica Region, who after meeting the participants shared his life and his ministry as the new Regional Councilor, providing some observations and plans for the Interamerica Region, and spoke with participants. Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, and Fr Silvio Roggia, from the same Department, led the work of the second day, providing formation on the ministry of the Salesian Director, including an overview of the new Director's Manual. On the third day some guidelines of the GC28 were shared and Fr Mel Trinidad, SUO Provincial, and Fr Tim Zak, SUE Provincial, shared their perspectives, visions and plans with the participants of their respective Provinces.
