Canada - Birth of “St Joseph” association in Edmonton's St Dominic Savio Parish
Edmonton, Canada - July 2021 - Devotion to St. Joseph is nothing new to Edmonton's St. Dominic Savio Parish. Thus, in the year dedicated to St. Joseph, a group of lay people called the "Sodality of St. Joseph" was born. Officially created last May 1st, the feast of St. Joseph the Worker, in July the Sodality was consecrated with a solemn Mass celebrated in the parish. With 21 members, the Sodality's main purpose is growing in holiness through devotion to St. Joseph, and to do so its members organize moments of prayer and sharing, putting themselves at the service of their family, the parish and the needy.
